Our foster daughter loves birthdays! She literally talks about it once a day. For her, it’s a day about her and it’s a day that has always been about her.

As a foster child, there is not a lot that holds true for her. Her family has changed, her home has changed, her school has changed and her friends have changed. But her birthday has never changed! It’s a day that will always be there for her and never vary. It is the one thing that she can remember about her birth family and the memories they made together. Birthdays are something so special.
